March 20, 2012: May Chapter Meeting
Please join us for the March meeting of the IAAP Lansing Tuebor Chapter at the offices of Parsons Brinckerhoff. Networking will begin at 5:15 and the program will start at 5:30. Dinner will be served at this meeting. We will have Pizza, salad, soft drinks, and a dessert. The suggested donation for the meeting is $8.00.
Darrel Cole, a Public Involvment Specialist from Parsons Brinckerhoff, will teach us how to use LinkedIn accounts to their fullest extent. He will give us a tour of the web site, discuss the applications, and help us find ways to put our best foot forward on professional networking sites. He will conduct live demonstrations and there may even be time to begin setting up a site for a member. A wireless guest network is available, so bring your laptop or wireless device to check out LinkedIn as we move through the presentation.
Parsons Brinckerhoff is located at 544 Cherbourg Drive, Suite 102. The major cross streets are St. Joseph Highway and Cretys. The Creyts Road - North exit off of I-496 is the most direct route.

The January chapter meeting will be a lunch meeting at the Red Lobster restaurant in the Frandor Shopping Center at 12:00 noon. This will be a mixer program that will highlight getting to know your chapter members. We will also discuss the benefits of membership in IAAP.
